I've been reading this book called "Kisses from Kate." It's about a young woman named Katie Davis from Tennessee who moved to Uganda after graduation. Her family was reluctant to see her go, but eventually supported her decision to serve. Katie started her own non-profit organization called Amazima, which assists in sending tons of children to school every day, as well as many other things. . Not only did she answer the Lord with a "yes" to provide for other children, but to make some of those her own as well. She has adopted 14 children and she is only a few years older than me!

It's not every day that you are greeted at the Chik-fil-A window in Starkville by a lovely South African lady's accent in the drive through speaker, and then you walk into your 11 o'clock class to a girl who had a baby squirrel in her pocket. This post is dedicated to those people who keep the world a little more interesting for the rest of us. Thanks for being you. Keep up the good work.
